Reflections
In this quick and easy tutorial we'll learn how to create a reflection using three images. I've taken two images created in Poser and an image created in Vue for this tutorial. What you'll need is a main image and a front and back of the image you want reflected. These images should be on a plain background like the two shown below. Open all three of your images. Select the Magic Wand tool Go to Selections>Invert to invert the select. That creates a selection just around the focus image.
Below is my main image. We'll put the Poser gal above into the mirror and the room to create a mirror reflected effect.
Make sure the image that goes in the mirror is selected and go to Edit>Copy. Select the main image and go to Edit>Paste as New Layer. At this point you may need to scale the newly pasted layer. Choose the Deformation tool You may also have to move the layer to get it into the mirror object. Use the Move tool
Select the other image and go to Edit>Copy. Select the main image and go to Edit>Paste as New Layer. Again, you may have to scale the newly pasted image. Use the Move tool
That's all there is to it.
Below is the test example.
Creating reflection effects is fairly simple and lots of fun.
