Gold Metallic Text Open a new image 400 X 100 or the size necessary for the text you want to use. Select the text tool, click on your canvas and in the Styles section of the Text Entry dialog you only want a white fill. You should have Floating checked.
Your canvas will look similar to below after clicking ok.
Go to the Effects Menu>3D Effects>Cutout and apply the settings shown below.
In the color dialog set your color to the following settings: Red=141 Go to the Effects Menu>Artistic Effects>Hot Wax Coating.
Your image should now be similar to the one below.
Go to the Color Menu>Colorize. Use the settings I have shown below.
Now we're getting somewhat close to a gold color but it's a little dark..
Go to the Colors menu>Adjust>Brightness/Contrast and use the settings I have below.
It could even be set a little bit brighter in the Brightness/Contrast dialog depending on the effect you are trying to achieve. Have Fun!
