Capture With Paint Shop Pro you have a screen capture device that allows you to capture images either in a pre-defined area, the full screen, the client area, a window or an object. You can choose what activates the capture, how long Paint Shop Pro waits before capturing and you can capture multiple stills at a time. You must set up your capture options before you use the capture option. Go to File>Import>Screen Capture>Setup to get to the Capture Setup dialog.
Below is the Capture Setup Dialog.
In the Capture section, decide how you want to capture.
In the Activate Capture using section you set up how you would like to initiate screen captures. You can choose a Right mouse click, a Hot Key and set the delay timer.
In the options section you can choose (in all but the Area capture) to include the cursor in the capture and to make multiple captures.
After you set up your capture preferences you can start a capture from the Setup dialog, from the Capture menu (File>Import>Screen Capture>Start) or from the toolbar by clicking on the icon that looks like a camera (as shown above). All the captures in this tutorial were made with Paint Shop Pro's screen capture utility. |
