Blue Metallic Text Open an new image 400 X 100 or the size needed to create your text. Select the text tool and click on your canvas. For Styles you only want a fill color and that color should be white.
You won't see anything on your canvas just yet if the background is white. Go to the Effects Menu>3D Effects>Cutout. Use the settings as shown below.
After clicking ok your image should look similar to below.
Now go to the Effects Menu>Texture Effects>Emboss
It's starting to look more like shiny metal all the time. Below is what it looks like after using the Emboss effect.
Go to the Colors Menu>Colorize. Use the sliders to get the color you'd like. In the example below the Hue was set to 35 and the Saturation to 255.
Go to the Effects Menu>3D Effects>Drop Shadow and add a drop shadow to finish it off. You can make the metallic look any color you'd like with the color menu. Have fun!
