3D Spheres

Create an image 200x200 with a black background.

Choose the Selection tool and set the type to Circle.

Holding the shift key, click in the center of your image and drag to the outside edge.

Choose a dark color for the foreground and a light color for the background. Select Linear Gradient and set the angle to about 136 and repeats to 0.

    

Using the Flood Fill tool, fill the circle selection.

Go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Wind and apply the settings shown below.

    

Go to Effects>Blur>Gaussian Blur and apply the settings shown below.

    

Go to Effects>Illumination Effects>Sunburst and apply the settings show below.

There you have it. A nice 3D sphere created from scratch. Have fun!
