CodeCharge Studio 2 The Editable Grid Builder gives you a way to quickly display your records and allow for updating, adding and deleting. If you don't want all of that functionality or only want some of it you'll have an option to choose that as you work through the steps in creating an Editable Grid.
There are six steps involved in creating an Editable Grid. You've probably guessed the first one by now and that is set up the connection.
Choose the table and primary key. Set the order in which you'd like the data displayed and choose the fields you'd like in the grid.
You can choose to have or not have a search/filter.
If you click the Advanced button you'll find even more options for setting up the search.
As with the Record Builder you can choose whether to sort fields, add navigation or pagination, how many records to show per page, create a message when no records are found and you can even display the total number of records returned from a query.
Here is where you decide what editing options you'd like available in the Editable Grid.
And again, the last step is to choose or not choose a theme.
You can choose how you want the grid displayed here also.

Wow, this is getting easier and easier. By now I'll bet you're getting the idea. By the time you download the demo, you'll know exactly what to do. Lets move on to the Grid and Record Builder. However, major software upgrades may be offered in the future at an additional cost, for example an upgrade from version 2.0 to version 3.0 may be priced at $150 (exact pricing to be determined at the time of the release). You can protect yourself from additional upgrade fees by subscribing to the Annual Maintenance Plan, or by purchasing a non-perpetual license (subscription) instead. Non-Perpetual License This is License Rental that gives you the opportunity to cost-effectively "subscribe" to, or rent, licenses of CodeCharge Studio software on an annual basis.
