CodeCharge Studio 2

The Record Builder helps you to create a form that will show one record at a time. You can combine this with the Grid Builder so that you have a link from a record in the grid builder that will open the record for editing.

There are only 4 steps involved in creating a record form. The first step as always is to create your database connection.

Select the table you want to draw records from and choose a primary key. Choose the fields you'd like in the record display.

Choose what actions you would like available when a record is shown.

Choose a theme or select none.

I haven't mentioned it yet so I'll mention it here. You can choose what type of file your css for themes comes from. This is a very cool option.

Below is the preview of the Record form we just built.

And the same thing in Design view.

Below is the live page as served from the local server within CodeCharge Studio.

You'll start to see a common thread now and in the following pages. You start by creating your connection if you don't have one already and then pretty much everything else is fairly close to the same. The process becomes extremely easy and recognizable after you've done it a couple of times and doesn't even take much thought.

Next we'll look at the  Editable Grid Builder.

Perpetual License
499.95 (US) per user

This is the Standard License that gives you the right to own and run the software forever, similarly to buying a packaged software in a store.  Minor software upgrades/updates/patches will be offered free of charge for unlimited time.  However, major software upgrades may be offered in the future at an additional cost, for example an upgrade from version 2.0 to version 3.0 may be priced at $150 (exact pricing to be determined at the time of the release). You can protect yourself from additional upgrade fees by subscribing to the Annual Maintenance Plan, or by purchasing a non-perpetual license (subscription) instead. Non-Perpetual License
279.95 (US) per year per user

This is License Rental that gives you the opportunity to cost-effectively "subscribe" to, or rent, licenses of CodeCharge Studio software on an annual basis.  You  benefit by having the right to always use the latest version of the product at no additional charge.  For tax-saving purposes, you can also report such software expenditure as a business expense rather than depreciating capital investment.
