Camtasia Studio is one of the most awesome pieces of software I've seen for video creation and editing. With Camtasia Studio you can record, produce, add effects to and play movies. Camtasia Studio comes with the Camtasia Player or you can view your movies with any player that plays AVI files. With Camtasia Producer you can also convert those AVI files to GIF for smaller file size and quicker download for the web.

Camtasia Recorder

Camtasia Recorder allows you to record movies from your computer screen. You can create demos of software, create training videos and one thing that is really exciting is that Camtasia captures the mouse if you so desire. Starting and stopping a capture is as simple as using a hot key. It couldn't get any simpler.
