The Complete Reference HTML
If you are a web developer this is one book you don't want to be without. It doesn't matter if you are experienced or novice. The title says it all. This IS the one and only HTML reference you will need. In addition to the most valuable appendix references, which include the complete HTML tag reference, CSS reference, Special Character reference and Color Names and Hexadecimal codes, the meat of this book explains HTML in depth. Major topics covered include:
In the major topics there are sub-topics covering HTML and Images, Links, Forms, Frames, Style Sheets, Dynamic HTML and much more. Although the title says "Reference", which it is in the full sense of the word, this book is also a great textbook that teaches you how things work by explanation and example. This isn't the kind of book that most would sit and read front to back, but perhaps you will. The HTML tag reference in the appendix lists each tag as well as giving a short example of use. The reference also lists all the attributes associated with that tag. The appendix also shows which tags span all browsers and points out browser specific tags as well. The CSS reference in the appendix also shows examples with each definition. This is a most valuable book to have on hand if you are planning to build or are currently building web pages. This books covers all versions of HTML up to 4. This book needs to be on every web programmer's desktop. The Complete Reference HTML Second Edition
