FastStats is a tremendously quick log file analysis tool. If you have access to your web site log files and no way to find out what is in them, you need FastStats. If you have another analysis tool, test drive FastStats for 25 days and see what you think. I love this tool. It's quick, it's painless, it's easy to use. You start by adding a report which is extremely easy to do and then click on "Generate Report".
In a flash, the report has been generated and you will see the below dialog. You can turn this dialog off if you want, but I really think it's interesting and fun to see how fast the log file was analyzed.
Once you click ok on the above dialog you'll see all the reports generated by FastStats. I have to mention here that if when you set up your report you set it to create the "tree" you will get a tree view that will allow you to see how traffic routed through your site. This is a very powerful tool!
You can view your reports in list view or graph if the report supports a graphical view. You can export an html report from here or you can set up your report to automatically generate the html file for you when you generate a report.
You can set filters, set it up so that the log files are read on the server or locally after you download them. Many log file formats are supported including:
