Repligator v5 Repligator is now in version 5 and it's better than ever! But before I go on I would like to mention that Repligator has recently won the 1999 SIAF (Shareware Industry Award Foundation) Best Graphics Software Program/Utility award and it's no surprise. Repligator is an awesome and inexpensive tool for altering/adding effects to an image. The user interface couldn't be easier and by simply opening an image and pressing F7 and F10 you can come up with some stunning images. F7 does a random XForm and F10 duplicates the image so you can essentially keep the changes you like and keep moving on by again pressing the F7 key.
The effects you see on the screenshot above started as the black and white image below on the far left. By using the F7 and F10 keys without having to set any preferences or do anything else the following images were created in a matter of minutes from the black and white that was originally opened.
New XForms added to version 5 are:
Improvements on existing XForms include:
Another change to the program is that you can select edges in the advanced selection dialog. Version 4 was outstanding, but version 5 is even better. I don't know of any other program so easy to use, that can create the variety of image effects as quickly as Repligator does. But, you can take your time too, and use the dialogs available to set your own variables by using sliders available from the XForm menu. Whatever you do, you need to check out Repligator!
