NetObjects Fusion 4 NetObjects Fusion 4.0 is a great product for building web sites. With Site View, keeping track of what's in your site is easy. It maps all the pages on your site so you can visualize your structure. Below is a screenshot of the Page View option. This allows you to set up your page layout quickly and easily. There are four ways to view your layout: graphical for graphic intensive pages, table mode for less complex pages, text mode, and HTML mode.
You can create your own web style or use one included in NetObjects Fusion 4.0 if you prefer.
If you have your content ready, you can have a site built in no time with NetObjects. It's not difficult software to learn and it is very easy to use. I will mention here that the manual included with NetObjects is not huge, but it is very well written and easy to follow. You'll understand the concepts and be up and building your site in no time. A really nice feature is NetObjects drag and drop feature. You can drag and drop an .rtf (rich text file) onto your NetObjects page. You can move it around where you want it. You can add images in the same way, and if you add an image inside a text box, the text will move to accommodate the image. That is a very nice feature for creating professional looking layouts without going to a lot of trouble. It is an innovative step in the right direction, in keeping with what designers of today need. There are several components you can use to create dynamic sites which include an iCat Commerce Cart, IBM HotMedia component, ASP connector, and the Allaire Cold Fusion connector. I don't think there is much that you can't do with NetObjects Fusion 4.0 and it has been difficult for me to figure out a way to grow out of NetObjects Fusion 4.0. You can create anything from a very basic website to an E-Commerce and/or database driven site. NetObjects Fusion comes packed with software, some free to use, others you'll need to try and buy. For a complete web site solution, NetObjects Fusion is one of the best packages around. Head on over to NetObjects and pick up a free trial today and test it out.
