Illusion by Impulse

Here it is folks! If you want to make movies, and you need particle effects, you've come to the right place! Impulse has just released Illusion, the only particle effects tool you'll ever need. It's extremely easy to use and is very powerful. You have the option to set the effects to just about any way you want and you can probably set it anything you want, but you know what the English teacher always says...never say never, and never say always. But you'll be able to figure out what Illusion can do by downloading the demo from the Impulse site.

Before you do that though, take a look at what Illusion has to offer and it's ease of use. Below is the main interface and just to look at it you can see it's pretty self-explanatory. Everything is laid out for you in the main interface.

It's extremely easy to adjust the effects from the menu on the left and you can add layers and your own backgrounds for your movies.

You can adjust the emitters from the properties dialog box allowing you to alter everything about each one to get them just to your liking.

You can set the size of the movie you want to create and you can keep notes on your project right in the project. This is handy if you changed emitter settings for a project then worked on another project and changed the emitter settings again. Simply make notes on the settings you use for each project in the notes section so you don't have to guess if you want to go back in and edit the project. 

You have options for setting how the program runs for you in the preferences dialogs.
