IMS Web Spinner

IMS Web Spinner is a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) HTML editor that is different from some of the rest. It has drag and drop capabilities and also allows you to import and export text from other editors. It also includes a text, Rich Text, and HTML editor and it creates JavaScript actions for you.

It also includes a Vector/Polygon editor for creating buttons and graphics. Import types include .gif, .jpg, .bmp, .wav, and .mid  files. The program includes a "gather" option that gathers all your files together for publishing which you can do from within the program. This is a great option. If you have ever created a web page with lots of different objects on it and had some not show up after you uploaded them to your web site, you'll understand what I mean. Keeping track of files included on a web page can be bothersome. However, with the gather command you will not have to worry about that and can concentrate on creating your web pages.

You can easily create mouse over effects using the Objects dialog box and making a couple of simple choices. There is a wizard that helps you to create mouse over effects and you can see him in the tool bar.

Placing "cut" images couldn't be simpler. The drudgery of creating tables for your cut images is over when you use IMS Web Spinner. With IMS Web Spinner you simply drag and drop them into place. The same is true for text objects. Create a text object and move it around on the page with simple drag and drop operations. Being able to move your objects around the page in this way makes layout much easier.
