Authorware Attain 5

Authorware Attain is a serious authoring tool for creating online learning. With Authorware Attain you can create interactive instructional presentations tracking users progress and these presentations can be delivered via the web, on LANs, and on CD ROM. Authorware requires the Authorware Web Player to be installed in order to view applications via an intranet or the Internet.

Authorware Attain contains what is called Knowledge Stream which is an intelligent streaming method that pre-loads parts of a web application before it's needed for faster load time creating a good experience for users with 28.8 dial up connections.

Authorware Attain supports Flash and Quick Time 3.0, and anti-aliases text. It includes the Voxware encoder that compresses and converts voice audio wav files and is CGI compatible for exchanging data with server-side CGI programs.

Knowledge objects allow you to use drag and drop pre-built functions and interactions. Wizards make the creation process extremely easy.

You'll never get lost in the authoring environment.

I found Authorware Attain very easy to use and with a little help from the terrific manual that comes with it. It took only a few hours to set up my first small application.

Authorware Attain comes packaged with pre-built knowledge objects but you also have the option of creating your own.

Authorware Attain is not something that you are going to learn fully overnight but it is a powerful tool for creating learning applications.
