1Jump

1Jump is a "free" program that allows you to easily access over 1,000,000 companies located on the internet.  1Jump can reside open on the desktop or in your system tray.  When you want to find a company and visit their website all you need to do is type in the company name and click the "JUMP" button.  As you can see from the screenshot of the interface below, you can search by company name, brand/trademark, ticker symbol, zip code, area code, and city.

You can add your own places to jump to also.  Below is the screen for adding places to visit.  I found this to be a very  quick and convenient way to travel around the internet.

If you're into stocks, check out this handy little item. You can track your own portfolio with 1Jumps "My Portfolio" feature.

Typing Yahoo into the jump box brought up the following screen.  I now have a choice of exactly where I want to go.  I don't have to enter a URL and find out once the page finally loads that I really wanted a different location.  This came in very handy.

One of the best things about 1Jump is that it is free and it's easy.  You can also sign up for a "Private Label" or "Co-branded Label" and distribute the software with you own advertisements from your own web site.  And all this is also free of charge.  1Jump works with any web browser.
